The active ingredient in the cream is mepyramine maleate, which is an antihistamine. Antihistamines work by blocking the chemical histamine that is produced during an allergic reaction.
This Anthisan cream is suitable to be used by adults and children aged 2 and over. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients that are contained in the cream.
